I am so proud of our students and our faculty for working so hard to become a "Recognized District" in 2005-06. In 2006-07, our district just missed being "Recognized" by only one student in one subpopulation resulting in a rating of "Academically Acceptable". You can rest assured that our staff is dedicated to helping our students attain an "Exemplary" or "Recognized" status for the 2007-08 school year. As always, we appreciate the wonderful support from parents and the community that we have here in Lazbuddie. There are many exciting things taking place this year and we invite you to come be a part of a learning community where the students come first.

I cannot think of anything else our students need more than support from parents, teachers, administrators, and community members. I invite you to come and take a personal role in supporting our young people. It would mean so much if you could come and watch a game, see the One Act Play perform, capture a spirit-filled moment in the gym during a pep rally, catch a track meet, etc. Please take the time to get involved in our students. It's going to be an exciting year for student accomplishments!

I would like to encourage all of our parents, community members, and taxpayers to always feel free to come by and visit with us. Your communication is valued.
